Recently, we have had a few new comers to the team and we wanted a chance for everyone to get to know the incredible Blushington Blooms team! We are starting out with our fearless leader Sophie, who is also an incredible friend to everyone on the team. Her design eye has created countless stunning weddings for brides across DFW. She has an enthusiasm for her career that will leave Blushington brides even more excited for their big day because they know they are in great hands with Sophie!
Sophie is a Fort Worth native and she has the cutest red heart cowgirl boots to prove it! She and her boyfriend Zach love playing with their dog Milo (who can be met at the shop!), going bowling together, and just goofing off and having fun. Sophie’s favorite store is Anthropologie but she is always down for a Target run. She is the absolute best gift giver and knows how to make everyone in her life feel special!
We asked the team a set of fun questions and everyone’s answers show how unique the team is! Here are some of Sophie’s answers!
What is your favorite post wedding strike snack? I love a late night taco bell run after a successful wedding!!!! Chips and cheese with a cold sprite, you can’t go wrong!
What are your favorite flowers? My heart is so full when we have orchids, cosmos, butterfly ranunculus, or dahlias in the studio. Something so special and unique about each of these blooms.
Best Wedding Advice? As a wedding vendor, I can honestly say that investing in a coordinator or wedding planner will be the most valuable and worthwhile addition to your special day! Having a trusted individual to help carry out the details you have spent months planning will give you peace of mind and allow you to be fully present.

4. Dream Concert? My dream concert would be none other than One Direction. I saw them every chance I got when I was a teen and if I could give anything to bring them back together I would!!! #Directioner4Life
5. If you could spend time with anyone dead or still alive, who would it be? I think I would truly love to spend an afternoon painting with Bob Ross!
6. All time favorite movies and TV shows? My all time favorite show has to be The Office. I have watched the entire series at least 20 times. (No exaggeration.)
7. What is your favorite part about your job? My favorite part of my job is seeing the look on our brides face when she sees her dream wedding come to life! Especially when I pass off a bridal bouquet- something so special and sweet! I also cherish the many hours spent with the team- and the laughs shared over caffeine and gas station snacks! I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
