At the start of this month, we were so honored to be involved with Brandi’s baby shower! She and her husband, Eric, and their daughter River, are expecting a new baby boy, Reid! Words cannot begin to describe how excited we all are for their family, and how loved baby Reid is!
For Brandi’s shower, the theme could be described as ‘Vintage Peter Rabbit’, including touches of classic garden party. For her florals we brought in some gorgeous antique blue hydrangeas and white tulips. This combination created some timeless and heartwarming arrangements! One of the great things about antique hydrangeas, is that they actually preserve really well! With the proper care and routine, one can maintain these flowers forever! Brandi is planning to dry these flowers and use them as keepsake and decoration for Reid’s nursery! How special is that? Perks of being a florist.
We all enjoyed some delicious sandwiches and fruit trays, and you can’t forget the charcuterie boards! The deserts really took the cake, with adorable designs and precious platings! Everything was so sweet- literally and figuratively! For the cookies, Reid had his very won crest designed for his initials- and I just think it is darling! So much thought and intention went into every detail, and I have a feeling Reid will be spoiled in the best way!
We all gathered around and showered her with love and support for this exciting new season in her life. We are so proud and happy for Brandi- and can’t wait to welcome the newest addition to the Blushington team!
