5 Things To Know For Your Floral Consultation

We all know wedding planning can be stressful. We often hear of brides becoming overwhelmed during the process, especially when it comes to flowers. I wanted to put together a list of things that I think are incredibly helpful to know/consider before meeting with your florist. This ensures you get the most out of your budget and experience!

  1. Budget - This may seem obvious to many, however; it is critical to have a general idea for your budget, as it gives your florist more discretion when designing arrangements, installations, and centerpieces. Typically, brides allocate 15-25% of their total wedding budget on flowers.

  2. Quantities & Measurements - Basically the more information you have going into the consultation, the better. Having estimated table counts and measurements allows your florist to provide you with the most accurate quote. Your venue should make this information readily available to you, but it is a good idea to have it a head of time as many of your other vendors will be asking the same questions!

  3. Style - We know how hard it can be to nail down an exact color palette and theme, especially if your wedding is over a year away! Your florist should be able to help you finalize these decisions by providing a professional perspective that takes all of your wishes into account. If you are certain of your color scheme and “vibe” we can get right to work designing arrangements that reflect your vision!

  4. Inspiration Photos - Screenshots, Pinterest boards, scratch paper scribblings… they all work! Inspiration photos are used as our reference when styling and designing your arrangements. Can’t find anything you like? No problem, leave it to us! That is what we are here for, we will always do our best to bring your floral dreams to life.

  5. Relax - We’ve got this! Your vision is beautiful, and we can’t wait to see it come to life.
