Recently, Blushington Blooms had the honor of collaborating and creating a whimsical and organic styled shoot alongside photographer Jamie Park and wedding planner Morgan Taylor. The shoot took place at The Graily, a historic 1911 schoolhouse turned enchanting venue.
The inspiration for the shoot was heavily influenced by Alice in Wonderland and The Secret Garden. Whimsical pieces carefully crafted by designers at Blushington Blooms included a broken arch with pops of rich purples and mauves, table compotes that juxtapose the velvety texture of garden roses with rough stone vessels, and a lush, organic style bridal bouquet complete with a cascading mauve ribbon.

The organic style broken arch is reminiscent of an entrance into a secret garden. It features unique and fresh florals and greenery such as bells of ireland, mauve and purple garden roses, and show stopping allium that brings to life the whimsy and enchantment of the theme.
The stunning bridal bouquet is thoughtfully designed with lavender roses, deep purple scabiosa, and light and shimmery butterfly ranunculus. Mauve lisianthus and pale pink waxflower are two delicate features that add texture and dimension within the bouquet. Keeping true to the secret garden theme, the addition of Queen Anne’s Lace adds a romantic and organic touch to the bridal bouquet. A cascading mauve ribbon delicately enhances the florals and brings together the look.
The asymmetrical construction of the table centerpiece compotes showcase the natural, garden theme and tie a cohesive bow from the ceremony space to reception. Supporting the florals is a stone urn compote which brings the outdoor garden style inside. Willow sprigs create whimsy and add an earthy texture and warmth to the centerpieces. Tall taper candles bring height to the tables alongside ivory pillar candles which were provided by Blushington Blooms to complete the table scape.
